BASUNDHARA is a Voluntary Organisaton registered under the Society Registration Act 1860. It was established in the year 1985 and has been working restlessly to achieve its purpose since that. Working as an ideal rehabilitation center for the children, women and elders in distress, their care, shelter and long-term rehabilitation is its prime concern.

The VISION of the Organization is creation of a Just Society where every child will enjoy the right to a dignified life. The model of which must base on equality and justice. The MISSION is introducing the orphan, abandoned and destitute children into the main stream of life and the empowerment of the destitute and distressed women through self help packages and professional trainings.

Our consistent effort is to safeguard child rights and their rehabilitation through the best alternative approaches.

To provide the children a secure and healthy environment, which values and upholds the rights of the children. Social reintegration of the children in the family and Community.

Every Child has right to a family-acts as the guiding principle. Children are placed both inside and outside the country. Special need, physically disable children are given utmost care by the foreign parents. Post Placement follow ups are prime requisite of all adoptions. read more
